The 5th DH Benelux Conference will take place on 6 – 8 June 2018 at the International Institute for Social History (IISH) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and will be organised by the KNAW Humanities Cluster in Amsterdam.

The DH Benelux organizers have recently published a Call for Paper which is open to all colleagues working in the humanities or heritage sector with an interest and enthusiasm in the application and use of digital technologies. Submissions are welcome from researchers at all career stages, even if early stage researchers (MA/PhD students and postdoctoral researchers) are particularly encourage to submit abstracts.

The DH Benelux welcomes humanities scholars, developers, computer and information scientists as well as librarians, archivists and museum curators. The conference has a focus on recent advances concerning research activities in the Benelux as well as data or research projects related to Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

As for the formats, the submissions are open for long papers, short project introductions, round tables; posters and application/tool demonstrations.

The deadline for the submission is Thursday 1 February 2018.
