FMSH to support researchers on innovative topics in Social Sciences & Humanities

The Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (FMSH) published an invitation aimed at  financially support foreign researchers as part of the organization of events about innovative topics in Social Sciences & Humanities, or the junction between SSH and other disciplines.

This new invitation focuses on the organization of events in the fall of 2016.

The invitation aims at encouraging participation of foreign researchers in scientific events organized in France, and at financing seminars, study days or international workshops on innovative themes in SSH.

Submitted projects  will be undertaken by a selection board which will pay a specific attention to events :

  • That promote interdisciplinary science
  • Which are held in France and enjoys an international stature
  • That encourage the participation of young researchers

FMSH support covers transport and/or stay costs for the foreign researchers involved who do not live in France. Please note that the maximum daily fee that may be granted by the FMSH is equal to 150 euros. The budget for the events must specify the financial supports requested and obtained outside the FMSH. FMSH support will not represent more than 30% of the total budget allocated to the event.
