The White Paper and the videos of the PARTHENOS workshop “Digital 3D Objects in Art and Humanities: Challenges of Creation, Interoperability and Preservation” are now available online.

The workshop was held in Bordeaux from November 30th to December 2nd, 2016, and it was jointly organized by CNR, CNRS/Huma-Num and INRIA within PARTHENOS’  Work Package 4 on Standardization. The Workshop was instrumental in bringing international experts together to exchange on the common issues and epistemological questions related to the creation, use, reuse and preservation of 3D models.

After the release of the first interviews, you can now watch the videos featuring all the presentations here.

The participants also contributed to a White Paper which is part of the PARTHENOS Deliverable 4.2 – Report on standardization and is available here. The White Paper reports the main conclusions of the three-day workshop, and clearly frames the main findings and key concepts developed during the event.

The White Paper will also serve as a starting point for PARTHENOS’ further research and analysis on the topics related to 3D objects and 3D issues in general.
