The Very Large Research Infrastructure (TGIR) Huma-Num organised from 11th to 14th of June 2018 its second Meet-up for its consortia, the Maisons des Sciences de l’Homme and its European partners.

The second edition of this Meet-up brought together around 100 participants from research communities, institutions and French and European research infrastructures in order to:

  • Introduce the work and major achievements of Huma-Num’s consortia.
  • Exchange between the existing consortia but also with the Maisons des Sciences de l’Homme and Huma-Num’s other partners.
  • Discover the new services developed by Huma-Num as well as new developments of existing services and tools.
  • Discuss and work with European partners involved in the DARIAHand CLARIN research infrastructures and in the H2020 projects Humanities at Scale and PARTHENOS.

The four-day program included invited lectures, presentations of experiences, workshops and discussions on different topics related to the implementation and appropriation of Huma-Num’s tools and services and their development context (Open Science, Linked Open Data, FAIR principles, etc.). To foster interactivity and the co-construction of Huma-Num’s services, collaborative work sessions took place at the end of each day so that each user could ask the team members questions directly, present his projects, his difficulties, suggest applications, etc.

The programme and the presentations are available here.
